| Ah Xanga. It's been a long time... and a lot has happened. School sucks. I flunked a quiz in math today. No joke! I got 5 points out of 30. Needless to say, I'm confused. My cell phone broke. I dropped it on concrete. :D So if you're trying to get a hold of me I probably won't get back to you until this weekend when I get home. On a brighter note, I'm giving a talk on the next Koinonia weekend. I'll be giving "Christian Living". Prayers would be greatly appreciated... I feel like this talk is completely out of my league, but God really convicted me and others that it was the talk I should give. So, here goes nothin... And then there's Jesse... :D He makes me laugh. He thirsts for God. He respects me. We have SO much in common.. He's amazing. *sigh* Sometime I'll give you the full story on how I accidently met his parents. It's a good one. I love you guys and miss you daily. Take care and God bless... | | |
| My relationship status is no longer 'single'.

| On Friday afternoon I actually dreaded coming back to school.
Now, I never want to go home.
I had forgotten all the familiar, beautiful faces. I had forgotten all the friendships I made here. Now, seeing them all again, I realize what I lived without for 3 months. It's so good to be back.
The apartment is wonderful. I couldn't have asked for anything better. My roommates are a perfect match for me... we get along really well and they deal with my craziness. ;) I have space. That's definitely a plus.
So all in all, the start of this year has been a smooth, easy transition. Thank God.
Classes start tomorrow... that should be fun.
Take care and God bless! Good luck with classes!
| It was extremely difficult to say goodbye to all those sweet little faces. They made me a goodbye card with all their tiny fingerprints. I cried. Okay, I cried a lot. It's heartbreaking to leave them.
I've learned so much from "my" kids this summer. I've learned a lot about what being a mom might be like. I've gained a new sense of confidence. I've learned tolerance and patience. I've learned to live life through the eyes of a child- a true gift.
Now it's on to school...
